Profile: Marcus Padley Marcus Padley has been a stockbroker for over 22 years. He is a Stock Exchange Affiliate (member of the Stock Exchange), a Master stockbroking member of the SDIA, has a Masters in Applied Finance degree from Macquarie University and a Law degree from Southampton University in England. He is a prize winner in Applied Portfolio Management. Born a Yorkshireman he emigrated to Melbourne in 1994 as the souvenir of his Australian wife Emma's visit to London. He is 42 with three daughters and (finally) a son. Marcus was advising institutional fund managers for sixteen years. Now as a proper authority holder at a licensed securities dealer (broker) he advises private clients. He is an expert analyst for the ABC TV's Inside Business program and has appeared on the 7.30 Report, Channel Seven News, Sky News, ABC Business Breakfast, ABC Radio, AFR OnLine, ABC OnLine. He is regularly quoted in the Media for his views on current issues. He writes for the Sunday Age business section each week and has appeared in all the National Press including the Sydney Morning Herald's Industry Insider column as well as other features in the Sydney Morning Herald, the Age, The Australian and the Herald Sun as well as some of the regional newspapers. Some newspapers use the MARCUS TODAY dividend list for their dividend data. His comments regularly appear on the newswires and in particular on Bloomberg and Dow Jones.
